AUTHOR’S AUTOBIOGRAPHY
I have been a serious student of astrology for many decades. For much of that time, I have been a collector of horoscopes. The discovery of a couple of Lois Rodden books of charts helped quite a bit. The Rodden rating system was a revelation. More and more charts were collected. The online site Astro-Databank also helped a lot. My university years also helped by giving me exposure to research methods and statistics. There was minimal training in these things in undergraduate Psychology classes. However, when I was studying for my Master’s Degree (in counselling) a more in-depth course in Research and Statistics was required and broadened my knowledge. Furthermore, being still a little uneasy, I consulted a person at Simon Fraser University who had just completed his Master’s Degree in mathematics. This reassured me. I intensified my efforts to work on a book of research studies. The result was the book this web site is promoting: Dismantling the Cosmic Clock.
